Goal 1 - Increase Knowledge and Understanding
Concept: The best way to prevent emergencies is to increase knowledge. The best way to respond to emergencies is by understanding them.Mission: To increase knowledge and understanding of safety and emergency preparedness through multiple channels, including direct literature distribution through schools, senior centers, and communities, strong internet presence, local and national partnerships with likeminded organizations, and our Family Fun & Safety Expos.
Goal 2 - Increase Prevention by Reducing Risk
Concept: Risk increases when individuals, families, caregivers, authorities, and responders do not know what to expect, are not sufficiently prepared, or do not plan for potential emergency situations.Mission: To reduce risk by sharing educational resources and safety tools, creating strong community networks, providing accessible documentation, and encouraging foresight while always ensuring the privacy of those who use our tools & resources.
Goal 3 - Improve Response with Free Tools & Resources
Concept: Tools & resources enable individuals, caregivers, and responders to act quickly and effectively during crisis situations.Mission: To provide, at no cost, effective & accessible tools & resources which can be used to locate, identify, and return individuals who have gone missing or wandering, are disoriented, or experience difficulty communicating their identity and needs, while ensuring that their important medical and contact information is available to the proper authorities.
